Two big company have announced a joint venture to develop and build a green urea plant, to be placed in the Samara region of the Russian Federation.
Total urea plant investment costs are estimated to be around €160 million. This new Russian urea plant will have the capacity of 1500 tpd and will utilize Urea 2000Plus® Pool Reactor technology.
The plant will be realized and integrated within KuibyshevAzot’s key in Tulyatti: both parties have already started the basic engineering and project.
In parallel, parties are closely collaborating in the project structuring activities in order to raise non-recourse project financing.
